Super Soft Natural Baby Alpaca and Merino Wool Scarf

Being natural unbleached and undyed, this Super Soft Scarf makes for a classic but meaningful gift to anyone special in your life, or why not just treat yourself and wear it wrapped around your neck to stay warm this winter, or loosely over a blazer for a cosy yet elegant touch in the spring.
It is made by hand in our Dorset Studio here in the Uk, using the finest blend of Peruvian 75% baby alpaca and 25% merino wool yarn.
It is soft as cashmere to touch and warm as goose down but lovely and lightweight too.
Alpaca has no lanolin content, meaning it is hypoallergenic, which makes it ideal for people with sensitive skin.
It doesn't pill or ball like some other luxury yarns do, and it is more sustainable too.
The yarn we use to knit this scarf is 100% natural, it is untreated, undyed and (non-super wash) meaning it is only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatments which highlights its natural properties while also provides better shape and texture.
Non of our merino fibres are from farms practicing mulesing. Our Merino is therefore mulesing free. It comes from small herders in the Peruvian mountains where sheep are their livelihoods and its their interest to look after the livestock well as the fleece is often their main income. Our Peruvian mill also provides education programme to help herders look after their animals.
Our Alpaca Wool comes from the Peruvian Andes again sourced from smaller farmers who's way of life is their animals.
This scarf measures approximately 35 x 180cm. We can also offer custom sizes made to order, for more information please contact us with any special requirements.
We offer gift wrap and we can send it straight to the recipient with a gift receipt and a personalised gift message, again just contact us with any specific requirements.
