Every single piece we create is naturally botanically dyed by us in our small and sunny Art Studio situated on the South Coast of England, surrounded by our garden where we grow harvest and process most of our plant materials.
All pieces are a celebration to honour the intricate diversity within our ecosystem.
It’s a commitment to caring for the earth and community, as well as personal wellbeing.
Our range includes materials such as organic cotton, pure linen, luxurious silk and robust hemp, as well as some unique natural wool blends.
Our product collections grow organically and evolve with the seasons so you can find something different with each visit.
We utilise plants in various ways. from colour extraction for our commercial dying process to oil infusions for personal use as healing salves and balms, and of course our food garden where we grow plants for nutrients as part of our path to regeneration.
Working in a closed loop system to eliminate waste is very important to us. Once the dye vat has been exhausted it goes directly into the compost heap and becomes the perfect compost activator feeding the soil’s organisms and returning fertility to the earth.
The soft touch of the materials we work with and the magical process of natural dying incite the feel-good chemicals our body produces and reminds us of our connection to all.
We are constantly on the look out for sustainable materials and we like to engage and work with independent makers as well as supporting small business owners who care about the materials and methods they apply to make their products, as much as we do.
