This wooly hand knitted tunic is made in small batches by hand in our Dorset Studio in UK using the finest blend of 75% Peruvian Baby Alpaca and 25% Merino Wool yarn.
Wearing this piece really feels like a warm and gentle hug.
The one size wooly cardigan is extremely versatile with its minimalist design it can be worn in the early spring through the summer as well as during the autumn season.
To truly embrace all seasonal changes wear it as an addition to your winter wardrobe by layering under your coat.
Alpaca has no lanolin content, meaning it is hypoallergenic, which makes it ideal for sensitive skin, so you won't experience itchiness associated with other wooly garments.
It doesn't pill or ball like some other luxury yarns do, and it is more sustainable to produce.
The yarn we use to hand craft this garment is 100% natural, untreated and undyed.
It is non-super wash, meaning it is only washed with water and not exposed to any chemical treatments which highlights wool’s natural properties while also provides better shape and texture.
Non of our fibres are from farms practicing mulesing.
Our wool is therefore mulesing free.
It comes from small herders in the Peruvian mountains, for whom the livestock is very important as it brings a good income.
The Peruvian Mill from where we supply the yarn provides education programme to help the herders look after their animals in the best way possible.
Our products are handmade in small batches with one of a kind finish that defines our line as part of the slow fashion movement, where fabric time and craft take priority over trends and fast consumer culture.
